Footnotes: Line Drive M181 earned his spot as a foundation herd bull because of the positive influence he has had on our herd. He was introduced to the Sun Rise and Spring Creek Simmentals programs in 2003. He proved to be a breeding bull which made a significant contribution to both herds. With each calf crop he produced, and as his progeny spread throughout the industry, it became very evident that he was a bull whose genetics we needed to keep in our programs.

Line Drive is the sire of our 45R flush cow (below), who was the donor used to produce the five embryos sired by Captain Morgan which sold for $6,000 at the 2013 New Year's Resolution Frozen Genetics Sale. At the 2016 Proudly Western Bull Sale, 45R's blaze-faced bull was the top seller at $23,000.
